About The Position

The Service Line Coordinator will function as a frontline expert in their specialty. Collaborates with the Service Line Supervisor to coordinate and support effective and efficient delivery of care for the surgical patients.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Nursing required.
Current/valid State of New Jersey license (or legal permission to work from the New Jersey Board of Nursing).
Minimum of three years of OR experience.
Proficiency in varied applied specialties.
Computer and keyboard skills preferred.
Current valid certification.
ACLS certified.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and support effective and efficient delivery of care for surgical patients.
Manage a changing work environment as a result of changing patient needs.
Work with patients with acute, chronic, and complex disease processes, and those who are dying.
Communicate effectively (oral and written) with patients, physicians, and co-workers during day-to-day, stressful, and emotionally changed situations.
Work independently and cooperatively with health care team members (i.e., physicians, MSA, CPD, etc.) and diverse patient populations.
Use effective time management to set priorities, perform job-related responsibilities, and respond quickly to emergency situations.
Use effective analytical and critical thinking skills to problem-solve, make clinical decisions, and respond quickly to meet patient care and departmental needs.
Perform work accurately, often changing from one task to another without loss of efficiency or composure.
