About The Position

Community Medical Center is hiring a Registered Nurse for its Community Physician Group (CPG) Clinics. The RN floats among outpatient clinics, including Family Practice, Surgery, Pain, Pediatrics, Infectious Disease, Acute Care Walk In, and Rheumatology. Nurses work with physicians, advanced practice providers, and a multidisciplinary healthcare team in a fast-paced, supportive environment. The role centers on patient relationships, education, care coordination, triage, and helping patients navigate their care. This is a PRN position with varied day shifts, 8–10-hour shifts, and an 8:00 a.m. start. The schedule requires 12 shifts in a 12-week period or a three-month evaluation period per year, according to the union contract.

Requirements

• Current Montana RN license or Compact RN License with Montana endorsement.
• Associate’s Degree in Nursing (ADN) from an accredited nursing school.
• BLS certification upon hire.
• One year of outpatient physician services (office nursing) experience.

Responsibilities

• Conduct patient assessments and triage patient concerns.
• Administer medications, injections, and prescribed treatments.
• Assist providers with examinations and procedures.
• Provide patient education and ongoing support.
• Coordinate referrals, testing, and follow-up care.
• Document patient care accurately within the EMR.
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure exceptional outpatient care.
