About The Position

The Registered Nurse will work in a split-FTE role supporting Primary Care and Specialty Care teams at the Winona campus. Primary Care services include Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, and Pediatrics. Specialty Care services include Allergy, Asthma, General Surgery, Pediatric Specialty, Urology, and Cardiology, among others. The position cares for patients of all ages and works collaboratively with providers and outreach clinicians to coordinate high-quality patient care.

The role is 0.8 FTE (64 hours per two-week pay period), with 8-hour shifts scheduled between 7:30 AM and 5:00 PM. There are no weekends or holidays. Starting pay is $31.98 per hour, with additional pay based on experience. The position offers departmental leadership support, access to a Career Development Center, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Requirements

• RN license to work in Minnesota required upon hire.
• RN license to work in Wisconsin required within 90 days.
• Minimum of an Associate Degree in Nursing.
• BLS for health care providers.

Nice To Haves

• One year of RN experience preferred.
• Ambulatory or clinic experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Care for patients of all ages in primary and specialty care settings.
• Triage patient phone calls and assess patient needs.
• Monitor and manage INR results.
• Assist providers during procedures and deliver patient education.
• Manage EPIC in-basket workflows and MyChart communications.
• Conduct nurse-only visits, including wound care, ABI testing, hypertension follow-up visits, and patient education.
• Collaborate with outreach clinicians and specialty providers to ensure coordinated, high-quality patient care.
