Registered Nurse RN, Primary Care
About The Position
Trinity Health Of New England Medical Group is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to provide higher-level clinical support to the health care team and superior nursing care in accordance with established RN job standards, policies, and procedures. The role supports quality patient care and collaborates with physicians and the care team to coordinate treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. Responsibilities include triage, communicating with patients about their health, prescription refills, vaccinations and injections, and serving as a liaison between physicians and patients. This is a full-time, 40-hour-per-week position on day shifts, Monday through Friday. The hourly pay range is $33.10–$52.95, based on working RN experience and potentially varying by location.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college or university-affiliated nursing program.
- Current Registered Nurse licensure in Connecticut.
- BLS certification from AHA or ARC.
Responsibilities
- Provide superior nursing care in accordance with established RN job standards, policies, and procedures.
- Contribute to the quality of nursing care through performance improvement techniques that positively affect patient care.
- Collaborate with physicians and the care team to coordinate care and treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs.
- Perform triage and speak with patients regarding their health.
- Handle prescription refill requests, vaccinations, and injections.
- Act as a liaison between the physician and patient.
