About The Position

Parkside Care, a Caldera Care facility, is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide nursing care to assigned patients. The nurse administers and records medications and treatments, monitors vital signs, symptoms, and general patient condition, and provides health care instructions and support to patients and their families. The role also involves collaborating with the care team to plan, implement, and evaluate nursing care and patient activities; assisting with patient admissions, transfers, and discharges; and assisting with unit management or taking charge of a unit when assigned.

This is a full-time, Monday–Friday evening-shift position at Parkside Care in Union Gap, Washington. The listed pay range is $42.00–$56.45 per hour, depending on experience. A $10,000 sign-on bonus is offered to full-time hires and is paid in quarterly installments during the first year.

Requirements

• Current and valid RN license.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth understanding of patient care policies and regulations.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• First aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administer, observe, and record medications, treatments, vital signs, symptoms, and patients’ general condition.
• Reinforce, support, and provide health care instructions to patients and their families.
• Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of the unit as assigned.
