About The Position

Parkside Care, a Caldera Care facility, is hiring a full-time Licensed Practical Nurse to provide nursing care in a welcoming care-facility environment. The position is scheduled Monday through Friday in the evening and is located at 308 W. Emma St., Union Gap, WA 98903. The listed pay range is $33.00–$44.35 per hour, depending on experience. A $7,000 sign-on bonus is offered to full-time hires and is paid in quarterly installments during the first year.

The role includes providing and documenting patient care, supporting patients and families with health-care instructions, coordinating care with the team, assisting with admissions, transfers, and discharges, and helping manage the unit as assigned.

Requirements

• Current and valid LPN license.
• Excellent interpersonal skills.
• Fast and adaptive problem-solving abilities.
• In-depth understanding of patient-care policies and regulations.
• Physical strength and stamina.
• First aid and CPR certifications.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care to patients as assigned.
• Administer, observe, and record medications, treatments, vital signs, symptoms, and patients’ general condition.
• Reinforce and provide health-care instructions to patients and their families.
• Participate with other team members in planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care and other patient activities.
• Assist with patient admission, transfer, and discharge.
• Assist with unit management and/or assume charge of the unit as assigned.
