About The Position
The Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) experienced Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) provides direct, high-quality patient care in a correctional setting, focusing on inmates enrolled in Medication-Assisted Treatment (MAT) and Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) programs. The role includes conducting thorough assessments, administering MAT/MOUD medications, implementing individualized care plans, responding to medical emergencies, supporting patient education, and contributing to a safe and efficient healthcare environment. The LPN collaborates with healthcare teams and follows facility policies, state regulations, and infection control standards. The position is with MEDIKO at Dauphin County Prison in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The stated schedule is Monday through Friday, 6:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., with some flexibility. Pay is $31.00–$41.00 per hour, based on experience, and the posting offers a $20,000 signing bonus.
Requirements
- Current, valid state Practical Nurse license.
- 1–3 years of experience with Medication-Assisted Treatment programs.
- Active CPR/BLS certificate meeting American Heart Association or American Red Cross guideline approval.
- Ability to manage time effectively, adhere to protocols, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced, structured environment.
