Clinic Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
Spectrum Health Care is seeking Registered Nurses (RN) to work in our clinic located at 1709 Bloor Street west, Toronto. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality nursing care to patients in a clinic setting. This role requires clinical skills and knowledge of wound management, infusion therapy, palliative care, and chronic disease management. The nurse will provide patient-focused, safe, holistic nursing care, ensuring it is based on current and best practices to achieve successful outcomes. The role also involves continually assessing, anticipating, identifying, and responding to new and changing patient needs.
Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of community nursing experience
- Currently registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO)
- Ability to work independently in managing a caseload
- Proficiency in English, both verbal and written required
- Excellent patient assessment and teaching skills
- Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills
- Basic proficiency in Word, Excel and ability to learn proprietary software
Nice To Haves
- Additional language skills
- Experience with infusion therapy, mental health, palliative care, and wound care
