About The Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) to provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric perioperative patients and their families. This role involves assisting with overnight hold patients and evaluating patient responses to care based on the effectiveness of nursing interventions in relation to established goals. You will be working at East Madison Hospital in Madison, WI.
Requirements
- Associate's Degree in Nursing Required
- 6 months of current surgical general care or emergency department experience Required
- Registration as a professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required
- CPR certification Upon Hire Required
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's Degree in Nursing Preferred
- 2 years of current independent PACU, critical care, or ICU experience Preferred
- ACLS certification Preferred
- PALS certification Preferred
Responsibilities
- Assist with overnight hold patients.
- Provide care for adolescent, adult, and geriatric perioperative patients and their families.
- Evaluate patient’s responses to care based on effectiveness of nursing interventions/actions in relation to established goals.
