This is a need for Medical/Surgical (MS), Telemetry (TELE), and Progressive Care Unit (PCU) specialties. Travelers assigned to this need must be comfortable working in all three specialties. Travelers should not be seeking concurrent permanent placement or travel assignments. Additionally, candidates requesting schedule accommodations such as block scheduling will not be considered. Agency partners must include their New Hampshire Temporary Health Care Service Agency License/Registration Certificate with all nursing submissions, as it is required by the state of NH. Experience in the Medical/Surgical setting with cardiac monitoring is required. Rural experience in a small unit/facility is preferred. The nurse must be able to work independently and 'hit the ground running.' The client will not consider candidates residing within 50 miles of the facility. The dress code is personal scrubs of any color. The patient population ranges from newborn to geriatric. The RN to patient ratio is typically 5:1, depending on acuity, with higher acuity PCU patients being 3:1 or 4:1. This applies to both day and night shifts. Requested time off during the assignment must be noted and verified at upload; requests after upload will not be approved. For a 13-week assignment, 5 days or less of requested time off will be approved. Travelers may not take all holidays off and must work two blocks if scheduled/needed: Thanksgiving Day/Friday after and the weekend after, Christmas Eve through Christmas Day and the weekend after, and New Year Eve through New Year Day and the weekend after. No non-billable orientation is offered. Holiday multipliers are 1.25%. Call and call-back are not applicable. A 48-hour guarantee is not available for this need.
