About The Position

Agape Care Group is hiring a full-time After-hours Hospice Registered Nurse to provide weeknight on-call coverage from 5 p.m. to 8 a.m. Monday through Thursday, ending Friday at 8 a.m. The RN serves as a patient advocate and communicates with patients, families, and the hospice care team to support the plan of care and ensure patients receive quality, compassionate care. The position is supported by a 24/7 RN-staffed Triage Department and the local hospice team.

The role is intended for a compassionate nurse committed to creating meaningful experiences for patients and families facing life-limiting illnesses. Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current state license as a registered nurse.
• At least 2 years of nursing experience in a clinical care setting.
• Reliable transportation.
• Ability to sit, stand, bend, and move intermittently.
• Ability to lift at least 80–100 pounds and effectively bear the weight of an average adult.
• A heart to serve patients and families and a passion for providing the best possible care.

• Hospice experience preferred.
