About The Position

The Registered Nurse in the Acute Telemetry department at Resurrection Medical Center is responsible for delivering safe patient care using the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation). This role involves providing direct patient care within the scope of practice, guiding patient/family teaching, and directing other nursing personnel while upholding care standards in the Med/Surg/Telemetry Unit. The RN is directly accountable for assigned patient care, communicating with physicians about changes in clinical condition, including cardiac monitoring, diagnostic study results, and symptomatology, and must be able to respond quickly and accurately to changes in patient condition or treatment response.

Requirements

Current and valid state RN License.
Current BLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Current ACLS certificate 30 days upon hire and maintain current.
Basic Arrythmia Interpretation within 30 days of hire.

Nice To Haves

Previous Acute Care hospital experience.
Ventilator Management experience.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).

Responsibilities
