About The Position

This Registered Nurse position is with Roper St. Francis Healthcare's Signature Primary Care practice, which operates as a concierge practice with a limited patient panel of 450 to ensure personalized and attentive care. The practice sees an average of 10 patients per day, allowing for comprehensive and unhurried consultations. The role involves providing patient care, facilitating clinical advice to patients, ensuring medical records are available, and coordinating with team members. Training on the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system will be provided.

Requirements

Graduate of an accredited nursing school.
One to two years RN experience, preferable.
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of South Carolina or holds a current compact/multi-state license as a Registered Nurse in a recognized NCSBN Compact State and is not a permanent resident of SC.
Must have a current American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Provider Card.
Ability to use clinical equipment including EKG machine, spirometer, Hemocue, Pulse Oxymeter.
Basic knowledge of medication policy and procedure.
Effectively utilize assessment skills for triage and patient care.
Strong patient-centered focus.
Effective verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with patients, employees and the public.
Ability to organize and manage competing priorities.
Ability to problem solve and show good judgment.
Corrected hearing and vision to normal range.

Responsibilities

Provides patient care at Roper St. Francis Health Care sites, as assigned, using approved protocols.
Facilitate the timely communication of clinical advice to patients electronically or by phone as directed by practice providers.
Ensure all needed medical records are available to care teams and providers prior to patient’s office visit.
Coordinate with other team members to provide exceptional patient service.
Receive training on the Electronic Health Record system (EHR).
Assist physician with outpatient office procedures.
