About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides and coordinates comprehensive patient care through the nursing process, delivering safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures. The role uses evidence-based practice, clinical decision-making, compassion, and communication skills while helping create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum. The position is on 9 PHO, a 16-bed specialty unit providing comprehensive, family-centered care to children and adolescents with hematologic, oncologic, and complex medical needs. Nurses collaborate with providers and interdisciplinary partners in a team-focused environment that emphasizes compassion, excellence, professional growth, innovation, and patient advocacy.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of RN work experience.
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
Nice To Haves
- At least 1 year of pediatric or hematology/oncology experience is strongly preferred.
