About The Position
Helen M. Simpson Rehabilitation Hospital, a partnership between UPMC and Select Medical, is hiring a full-time Registered Nurse for its inpatient rehabilitation hospital in Harrisburg, Pennsylvania. The hospital cares for people facing medical, physical, emotional, and vocational challenges related to brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, neurological disorders, orthopedic issues, amputation, and multiple traumas. The schedule is listed as night shift, 7 p.m.–7:30 a.m. Compensation is $40.12–$54.00 per hour, based on years of experience, with shift differentials for nights and weekends. A $15,000 sign-on bonus is offered. Requirements
- Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
- BLS certification required at hire.

Responsibilities
- Receive admissions and/or transfers.
- Conduct initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
- Complete timely and accurate documentation using EPIC.
- Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
- Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
- Instruct and counsel patients and families.
