About The Position

Select Specialty Hospital is a critical illness recovery hospital providing inpatient post-ICU care to chronically and critically ill patients who require extended healing and recovery. Registered Nurses play a central role in delivering compassionate, excellent treatment throughout patients’ recovery. The role is based at 96 Parkway, Rochelle Park, New Jersey, and is full-time on the day shift with 12-hour shifts. Compensation is $47.56–$64.00 per hour, plus shift differential, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus. Requirements

Valid state Registered Nurse (RN) license.
BLS certification required at hire.
ACLS certification required within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

Receive admissions and/or transfers to the unit.
Perform initial and ongoing systematic patient assessments.
Complete timely and accurate documentation using appropriate systems.
Interpret assessment and diagnostic data, including laboratory results and telemetry.
Ensure medical orders are transcribed and processed accurately.
Demonstrate competence in rapid response and code events.
Instruct and counsel patients and families.
Perform other duties as assigned.
