Registered Nurse (RN) Mobile & Flexible (West Ridge)
About The Position
AffiniCare is hiring Registered Nurses to provide licensed staffing support to Care Initiatives’ skilled nursing communities. Nurses travel to multiple Care Initiatives locations within their region to help cover open shifts, with the ability to choose preferred facilities and shifts and customize their schedule. Both full-time and part-time schedules are available, with a minimum work requirement of 16 hours per month. The role provides direct nursing care to residents in skilled nursing settings and supports daily clinical operations, resident safety, and quality of care. Nurses collaborate with interdisciplinary team members, communicate with residents and families, and complete documentation in accordance with clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
Requirements
- Active Iowa RN license.
- Active CPR certification.
- Twelve (12) months of verifiable experience working as an RN.
- Ability to travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within the region.
- Must live within a reasonable driving distance of Care Initiatives communities.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
- Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
- Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
- Collaborate with CNA, LPN, provider, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
- Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
- Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
- Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols at all times.
- Travel between multiple Care Initiatives communities within the region to assist with open shifts.
