Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Medical Oncology - Care Managear
About The Position
HSHS is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment in an outpatient oncology setting. The role functions primarily as a care manager, working one-on-one with physicians, participating in patient consultations, educating patients, and coordinating care. Occasional travel is required to St. Clare Hospital in Oconto Falls, St. Nick's Hospital in Sheboygan, or Door County Medical Center in Sturgeon Bay. The position is in Outpatient Medical Oncology at Saint Vincent Hospital in Green Bay, Wisconsin. It is scheduled for 36 hours per week, on weekdays from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., with no weekends or on-call duties. Compensation is based on experience, skills, training, certifications, and education.
Requirements
- Graduate from an accredited and approved school of nursing accepted for licensure in the state of practice.
- Hold a Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice; Wisconsin nurses may practice with a valid multi-state RN license under Nurse Licensure Compact rules.
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
