We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse to provide high-quality care in a medical-surgical and telemetry environment. The role primarily involves working on a Telemetry Float Unit, with assignments across multiple medical-surgical departments and locations in the region to meet patient-care and staffing needs. Nurses may also be assigned to the oncology medical-surgical unit and transition areas for patients awaiting placement or requiring specific care. The RN manages a workload of 4–5 patients, administers and titrates intravenous drips, and transfers patients to critical care when necessary. The nurse collaborates with telemetry monitoring staff to support patient safety and accurate monitoring. Charge Nurses, House Supervisors, and nurse aides are available to support care, and extended orientation is provided for the department’s various units. The schedule is a 12-hour day shift, every other weekend, with 36 guaranteed hours per week. Holiday scheduling participation and potential call may be required during the contract period. Travel policies, including required breaks during shifts, must be followed.
