Weekend Registered Nurse (RN)
About The Position
The Registered Nurse assesses residents’ needs, develops individualized care plans, administers and evaluates nursing care, and supervises nursing assistants and other personnel delivering care in a skilled nursing facility. Supervision must comply with applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the Director of Nursing Services or designee, to maintain high-quality care. The RN follows health, sanitation, and infection-control policies and the community’s established standards of practice and nursing policies and procedures. This role is offered on a full-time or part-time basis, with first- and third-shift opportunities and a weekend shift differential. The position is at Tetra Health & Rehab Center in Hendersonville, North Carolina.
Requirements
- Hold a current, unencumbered RN license in the state where the position is located.
- Hold current CPR certification.
- Possess basic computer skills and the ability to navigate software programs, including electronic health record software.
Responsibilities
- Assess residents’ needs.
- Develop individualized care plans.
- Administer nursing care and evaluate its effectiveness.
- Supervise nursing assistants and other personnel in the delivery of nursing care.
- Follow applicable federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations, as well as direction from the Director of Nursing Services or designee.
- Follow health, sanitation, and infection-control policies and established standards of practice and nursing policies and procedures.
