About The Position
Logan Health Behavioral Health is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join their night shift team. Logan Health Behavioral Health, formerly Pathways Treatment Center, has provided high-standard acute inpatient services for clients with mental health or substance abuse issues since 1994. The 40-bed facility offers clinically effective treatment through a collaborative team including psychiatrists, addictionologists, certified licensed addiction counselors, licensed therapists, psychiatric nurses, and mental health specialists. The team is dedicated to delivering results-oriented treatment in a caring and confidential environment.
Requirements
- Current Montana RN license or a multi state compact license with authorization to practice nursing within the state of Montana.
- RQI Provider (BLS) required within 7 days of hire/transfer or before independent patient care, whichever occurs first.
- Possess knowledge of professional nursing theory, medical terminology and principles of professional nursing practice to administer and evaluate patient care.
Nice To Haves
- BSN degree preferred.
- Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in similar position within a medical setting (e.g., physician office, clinic, or hospital) preferred.
- Experience in assigned area(s) preferred.
Responsibilities
- Conduct assessments, develop individualized care plans, provide therapeutic interventions, and collaborate with healthcare teams to support patient recovery.
- Administer and monitor prescribed medications, educate patients on adherence and side effects, and adjust treatment plans as needed.
- Perform regular safety checks, document patient observations, and ensure adherence to facility safety protocols.
- Lead therapeutic programs, teach coping strategies, facilitate group discussions, and provide medication education.
- Respond to Code Gray incidents, use de-escalation techniques, ensure staff and patient safety, and document crisis interventions.
- Maintain accurate patient records, comply with facility regulations, participate in treatment meetings, and stay updated on best practices in psychiatric nursing.
