About The Position

PLEASANTVIEW NURSING CENTER is hiring a Registered Nurse to work in both short-term rehabilitation and long-term care. Under the supervision of the Director of Nursing, the nurse applies a general understanding of nursing principles and basic physical assessment skills to develop and implement individualized Nursing Care Plans that meet customers’ needs. The role also assists with orienting and supervising nursing personnel, attends to daily unit operations on a per-shift and unit level, and assumes leadership responsibilities as needed.

Requirements

• Current Registered Nurse license issued in the state where the person will practice.
• Graduate of an approved school of Nursing.
• Physical assessment skills.
• Comprehensive knowledge of nursing principles.

Nice To Haves

• Experience in geriatric or rehabilitative Nursing.
• Experience in a supervisory capacity.

Responsibilities
