About The Position

This is a temporary position for a Registered Nurse (RN) on the 3 East, Cardiac/Neuro unit. The unit size ranges from 20 to 34 beds, with a typical patient ratio of 1:6. Travelers are required to work two of the following holidays: Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve/Day, or New Year's Eve/Day, along with the Friday/weekend after each. Travelers must have their own vehicle for this assignment. A 8-hour non-billable orientation is required. Holiday and Overtime multipliers are 1.25%.

Requirements

4+ years of current MS/Cardiac/Neuro experience.
Tele experience.
Willingness to float.
Basic Dysrhythmia course completion.
Meditech Expanse experience.
BLS, NIHSS, and ACLS must be in hand at profile upload.
Traveler must have their own vehicle.
Permanent address must be included in profile.
Any/All RTO must be included in profile.
All scheduling requests must be made at the time of submission.
Work History.
Skills Checklist (Medical Surgical, current to 1 year).
1 Supervisory Signed Reference (from within the past two years of employment).
Massachusetts RN license.
Active American Heart Association BLS.
Active American Heart Association ACLS.
National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale (NIHSS).

High proficiency in Cardiac/Neuro patients (Skills Checklist).

Responsibilities

Provide care on a Cardiac/Neuro unit.
