REGISTERED NURSE (RN)-Neuro-PRN
About The Position
Collage Home and Community Rehabilitation Partners is seeking experienced Registered Nurses for PRN positions serving Denver, Colorado, and surrounding areas. The organization provides individualized neurological rehabilitation for people with traumatic brain injuries, spinal cord injuries, CVAs, and other neurological or complex orthopedic diagnoses, delivering care in patients’ homes and communities. Nurses work one-on-one with patients as part of interdisciplinary teams and contribute to integrated treatment plans tailored to each patient’s needs. The role includes conducting home visits, assessing patients’ health and circumstances, administering prescribed medications, educating patients and families, and communicating with other members of the care team. Pay is $40–$45 per hour.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited diploma, associate, or bachelor’s school of nursing, or vocational nursing.
- Current state license as an RN.
- Proof of current CPR certification.
- Compassionate, friendly demeanor.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Current driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Ability to work a flexible schedule and travel locally.
- Experienced RN.
Responsibilities
- Visit patients in their homes for one-on-one visits.
- Complete initial and ongoing assessments to identify the physical, psychosocial, and environmental needs of home health patients.
- Assess patients’ conditions, chart observations, and perform evaluation tasks, including taking vital signs and reviewing medications.
- Administer medication as prescribed by the patient’s physician.
- Educate patients and their families on home health care strategies and procedures, and recommend devices or tools that may improve patients’ quality of life.
- Communicate effectively with patients and clients, family members, team members, and other health care professionals.
