About The Position

We are seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team in a critical care setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Medical ICU, Trauma ICU, or Neuro ICU and will be committed to providing high-quality patient care. This position requires rotating night shifts of either 3 x 12-hour or 4 x 12-hour schedules, from 1900 to 0730. Blocked schedules are not available, and on-call duties are rare. Experience with the Epic electronic health record system is also required.

Requirements

• Current RN license in state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification: Required from an approved vendor
• Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification: Required from an approved vendor
• Completion of a Critical Care Nursing course: Required
• Experience with the Epic electronic health record system is also required.

Nice To Haves

• Strong background in Medical ICU, Trauma ICU, or Neuro ICU
• Six months of previous critical care experience: Preferred
• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing: Preferred
• Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC): Required within 1 year of hire or transfer into the department
