About The Position

Lantern Park Specialty Care, a high-acuity 90-bed long-term care skilled nursing community in Coralville, Iowa, is hiring a Registered Nurse to provide resident-centered care as part of a quality-focused, compassionate care team. The position is full-time overnight, with shifts from 6 PM to 6 AM. The role supports residents throughout their healthcare journey and contributes to quality care and resident safety in a skilled nursing environment.

Requirements

• Valid RN license in good standing, valid in Iowa or with the ability to activate it.
• Current, valid CPR certification.
• Knowledge of federal and state long-term care regulations and laws.
• Commitment to helping others and consistently treating them with empathy, respect, patience, and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct, compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing environment.
• Support daily clinical operations on the unit, ensuring quality care and resident safety.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately and on time.
• Monitor resident conditions and respond promptly to changes in status.
• Collaborate with CNAs, LPNs, providers, and other interdisciplinary team members to promote teamwork and high-quality care.
• Communicate effectively with residents and families regarding care needs.
• Document care accurately to meet clinical, regulatory, and facility standards.
• Follow infection control, safety, and compliance protocols.
