About The Position
Registered Nurse (RN) Wound Care/Hyperbaric Outpatient Clinic Bring your Passion to Texas Health Where we are Better +Together · Work location\: Texas Health Southwest, 6100 Harris Parkway, Fort Worth, TX 76132 · Work hours\: PRN II requires a minimum of 3 shifts per 6 week schedule (working collaboratively with wound clinic leadership to cover the M-F 8a -4\:30p staffing needs). Requirements
- Associate degree or Nursing Diploma required.
- One-year experience as a registered nurse.
- Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire.
- Current BLS prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly.
Nice To Haves
- BSN preferred.
- Experience in outpatient wound care setting (preferred) and/or inpatient wound care.
Responsibilities
- Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process.
- Responsible for delivery of wound care in an outpatient setting.
- Work with other team members to resolve patient issues.
- Ensure communication with other care providers is timely, accurate, and complete.
- Patient/family teaching and discharge instructions, referrals and supply needs.
- Utilizes evidence-based practice to administer wound care services.
