About The Position

Martine Center is hiring a Registered Nurse (RN) Unit Manager in White Plains, New York. The position oversees an assigned nursing unit, supports employee policies and procedures, mentors nurses, and helps maintain standards of resident care. The Unit Manager reviews resident records and quality of care, monitors overall care and individual cases, addresses questions or complaints from residents and families, and represents the unit to upper-level management.

Requirements

• Must hold a valid State RN License.
• Strong computer skills.
• Excellent communication skills.

Nice To Haves

• Three years of long-term care experience preferred.
• Two years of charge nurse experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Handle all supervisory duties for the assigned unit.
• Help establish and implement employee policies and procedures.
• Mentor less experienced nurses, offering clinical and career advice.
• Maintain the standards of care for the unit.
• Review resident records and quality of care.
• Monitor overall care and review individual residents’ cases.

• Represent the unit's interests with upper-level management.
