Registered Nurse (RN) - Travel
About The Position
Horizon Health, a subsidiary of Universal Health Services (UHS), is seeking a Travel Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment in Behavioral Health at the Carolina Center in Greer, SC. This full-time position involves 36 hours per week on the night shift. The role offers an enhanced hourly rate, a tax-exempt stipend where applicable, bi-weekly pay, and the opportunity for overtime. Horizon Health is a leading behavioral services management company, and their Adventure RN program provides flexible employment opportunities across their national network of behavioral health facilities. Comprehensive orientation is provided prior to the first assignment, and career development opportunities are available through the large, nationwide network of peer nurses and leaders. Intercompany transfers to permanent positions are facilitated with no interruption in benefit coverage.
Requirements
- Current South Carolina RN license or compact/multi-state license
- At least one year of nursing experience in behavioral health or related area
- Current CPR or BLS certification
Responsibilities
- Assess, monitor, record and report symptoms or changes in patient conditions
- Maintain accurate patient reports and medical histories
- Collaborate with other members of the treatment team to ensure the best possible care for the patients
