This role requires skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management, specifically while caring for medical and post-surgical patients.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited school of nursing (NLN, CCNE, ACEN, or NLN CNEA) OR three years of related professional nursing experience.
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana (as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact - NLC).
Responsibilities
- Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, and performance.
- Adhere to the Nurse Practice Act.
- Uphold the mission and goals of the Community Health Network.
- Manage patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner.
- Demonstrate skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources.
- Manage care for medical and post-surgical patients.
