About The Position
We’re hiring a compassionate and dependable Med-Surg RN to join a dynamic acute care team in Fort Walton Beach, FL. This role is ideal for a Registered Nurse with at least 1 year of RN experience who is looking to grow in a fast-paced medical-surgical unit.
Requirements
- Active Florida RN license (or compact)
- Minimum 1 year of RN experience (Med-Surg or acute care preferred)
- Strong skills in patient care, time management, and critical thinking
- BLS required
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced hospital environment
Nice To Haves
- ACLS preferred
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care in a Medical-Surgical (Med-Surg) unit
- Perform patient assessments, medication administration, and care planning
- Monitor patient conditions and respond to changes in real time
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver quality care
- Maintain accurate EMR documentation and ensure compliance with protocols
- Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge care
