As a Registered Nurse, you will demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, the Nurse Practice Act, and the mission and goals of Community Health Network. You will manage patient care across the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner, demonstrating skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and resource management. This role involves providing post-operative surgical care for procedures such as hysterectomies, thyroidectomies, gastric bypass, and colon resections, as well as treating other medical conditions. You will connect with patients and families, supporting them through their recovery.

Requirements

  • Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience.
  • Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC).

Responsibilities

  • Manage patient care in the healthcare continuum to achieve optimum outcomes in a safe and cost-effective manner.
  • Demonstrate skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation, and management of resources.
