This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment for Open Vascular, Endo Vascular, and Hearts. It is a Level I Trauma facility with a strong Minimally Invasive CV program. Requirements

  • Associate degree Nursing required or Nursing Diploma
  • 1 Year Experience as a registered nurse or completion of an RN residency program (Required)
  • RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire (Required upon hire)
  • BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support (Required upon hire)

Nice To Haves

  • BSN (Preferred)
  • Robotic, GYN, Plastics and Breast Oncology experience (Strongly Preferred)
  • At least 3 years of experience circulating (strongly preferred)
  • Scrubbing experience (preferred)
  • ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support Upon Hire (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Delivers care to patients utilizing the Nursing Process
  • OR RN Surgery Circulator duties and skills
  • Assesses the patient
  • Plans the care of the patient
  • Intervenes as appropriate
  • Evaluates the effectiveness of interventions
  • Incorporates age specific safety/infection control measures into patient care.
  • Initiates action to meet patient and/or significant others need for information
  • Maintains continuity of patient care inter-shift, inter-hospital, and while expediting out of hospital transfers.
