Requirements
- Associate’s degree in nursing required
- Current RN license in state of practice
- BCLS (required)
- Populations Served: Neonate, Infant, Early Childhood, Late Childhood, Adolescent, Young Adult, Middle Adult, Older Adult.
- Protected Health Information Accessed: Demographic, Clinical, Insurance, Financial, Complete Medical Record.
- Exposure: Occupational exposure to bloodborne pathogens is present for all employees.
- Physical Requirements: Frequent standing, walking, lifting/moving patients, and repetitive hand/arm movements.
- Regular exposure to biological and chemical hazards, including blood and bodily fluids, hazardous medications, and latex.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor’s degree in nursing preferred
- ACLS and PALS preferred
Responsibilities
- Provides direct patient care in the surgical setting using the nursing process in accordance with applicable scope and standards of practice.
