About The Position

The Perioperative Registered Nurse (RN) provides direct and indirect patient care utilizing the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation throughout the surgical experience. The RN collaborates with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and interdisciplinary team members to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality patient care before, during, and after operative procedures. The Perioperative RN serves as a patient advocate while addressing the physical, psychosocial, cultural, and educational needs of patients and their families. The RN communicates effectively with all members of the healthcare team regarding patient status, response to treatment, and perioperative care needs to promote positive patient outcomes and a culture of safety. You’ll make an impact by utilizing your specialized plan-of-care intervention and serving as a patient-care innovator. You will shape exceptional patient journeys every day and leverage your skills and our cutting-edge technology to directly impact patient wellbeing.

Requirements

Current state RN license
Bachelor's degree or Associate's degree from an accredited nursing school
BLS
ACLS
PALS

Nice To Haves

1 year of experience preferred
