About The Position
Texas Health Presbyterian Hospital Dallas is seeking a Registered Nurse for their PCCU Surgical Telemetry Unit. This is a full-time, days position. The unit specializes in the care of cardiovascular surgical patients, thoracic surgical patients, vascular surgical patients, Cath lab patients, heart failure patients, pacemakers, and all cardiac conditions. This is a high acuity telemetry unit with a reduced nurse to patient ratio (4:1-5:1) and self-scheduling options to promote work-life balance. The hospital is a Magnet-designated, full-service hospital with specializations in cancer care, cardiology, neurosciences, women’s services, and emergency medicine. It is a Level III neonatal intensive care unit, a Comprehensive Stroke and Bariatric Surgery Center of Excellence, and provides wellness services, outpatient surgery, and women’s imaging services. The hospital is a Joint Commission-certified Primary Stroke Care Center, a Level I Trauma Center, a Cycle IV Chest Pain Center, and a designated Magnet hospital.
Requirements
- Nursing Diploma Nursing Req Or Associate's Degree Nursing Req Or Bachelor's Degree Nursing Pref
- 1 Year Experience as a Registered Nurse or completion of an RN residency program Req
- RN - Registered Nurse Upon Hire Req
- BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly Req
- ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support 90 Days Req
- CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training Maintained Annually 90 Days Req

Responsibilities
