Where you will work: Pain Management RN – Our Pain Management Clinic is a fast-paced, procedural environment dedicated to improving quality of life for patients with acute and chronic pain conditions such as back, neck, joint pain, spinal stenosis, neuropathy, cancer pain, and more.
Requirements
- Requires minimum of 1 year of experience in clinical nursing.
- Strong IV skills
- Completion of an accredited or approved program in nursing
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the teammate practices
- Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association
Nice To Haves
- Preference experience in procedural, ICU, L&D, ED or Med/Surg
Responsibilities
- Provide pre-, intra-, and post-procedure care
- Assist with patient exams
- Opportunity to develop expertise in pain pump management and medication coordination
- Collaborative team of nurses, techs, clerical staff, and providers
- Exposure to advanced procedures: Epidural Steroid Injections, Joint Injections, Nerve Blocks, Radiofrequency Ablations, Kyphoplasty, and Spinal Cord Stimulator Trials
- Specialized roles including Intrathecal Pump management and pharmacy coordination
