Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- Active and unrestricted New York State RN license
- Current BLS certification
- 1+ years of clinical nursing experience in acute care, procedural, or ambulatory setting
- Proficiency in IV insertion
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Master of Science in Nursing (MSN)
- Experience in pain management or outpatient clinical settings
- Experience using EPIC electronic medical record system
Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality nursing care in an outpatient pain management setting
- Prepare patients for procedures and monitor recovery post-procedure
- Perform patient assessments, vital signs, and pain evaluations
- Educate patients and caregivers on treatment plans, medications, and post-procedure care
- Accurately document nursing care and patient interactions in the electronic medical record
- Collaborate with physicians, advanced practice providers, and clinical staff to ensure coordinated care
- Adhere to infection control, safety, and regulatory standards
