Registered Nurse RN Oncology
About The Position
At Saint Francis Hospital, the inpatient Oncology Unit provides care to patients with solid tumor cancers, hematologic cancers, and benign hematologic conditions. We also provide care to medical/surgical patients and offer hospice and end-of-life services. This role involves being part of a collaborative, high-performing team, actively participating in unit shared decision-making, and enjoying practice autonomy using nurse-driven protocols. The nurse will deliver compassionate, ethical, and respectful care aligned with Trinity Health's mission and values, applying the full nursing process (assess, diagnose, plan, implement, evaluate) to provide high-quality care. The position may also serve as a resource for others and take on expanded roles intermittently.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited college or university affiliated nursing program.
- Current Licensure as a Registered Nurse RN in Connecticut.
- BLS (AHA/ARC)
Nice To Haves
- BSN graduate preferred.
