Registered Nurse RN Oncology
About The Position
The Registered Nurse provides direct patient care within the scope of practice in the Infusion Center. This role involves administering IV therapy to patients, monitoring patients' vital signs and reactions to medication, and instructing patients, staff, and families about infusion medications and premeds. The nurse is also responsible for responding to side effects and/or adverse reactions during infusion. The position is part-time, with 8-hour day shifts, generally Monday to Friday from 08:00 AM to 4:30 PM, with no weekends or holidays. It is located at Prime Healthcare, St Mary's Infusion Center in Chicago, IL 60622, with free parking available.
Requirements
- Current and valid state RN License.
- Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
