About The Position

Community Health Network was founded by neighbors for neighbors over 60 years ago, with a continued focus on community, providing exceptional care backed by state-of-the-art technology, and supporting caregiver growth. The Registered Nurse will contribute to this mission by working collaboratively within a 20-bed Oncology unit. This unit is unique as it operates with a hybrid acuity model, delivering both Med/Surg and Progressive Level care.

Requirements

Graduate of National League for Nursing (NLN), Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE), Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), or National League for Nursing Commission for Nursing Education Accreditation (NLN CNEA) accredited school of nursing, or three years of related professional nursing experience
Licensed as a Registered Nurse (RN) with a valid license to practice in the state of Indiana as listed in the Nurse Licensure Compact (NLC)
6-9 months of training will be required for applicants without an Oncology background

Responsibilities

Work collaboratively with the team in a 20-bed Oncology unit
Provide Med/Surg and Progressive Level care in a hybrid acuity unit
Demonstrate performance consistent with professional standards of practice, care, the Nurse Practice Act and the mission and goals of Community Health Network
Demonstrate skills in collaboration, delegation, negotiation and management of resources
