About The Position

Inova Loudoun Hospital is seeking an experienced Neonatal Intensive Care Unit nurse for a PRN, as-needed schedule. The nurse must be able to work day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Loudoun Hospital’s expanded level III NICU, the highest-level NICU in Loudoun County, can accommodate up to 24 infants and includes 14 private rooms. The unit also has two NICU Pods designed for infants requiring constant observation and is staffed 24/7 with board-certified neonatologists.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
• At least 1 year of NICU RN experience.
• Basic Life Support certification through AHA.
• Licensed as a Registered Nurse, or eligible for licensure, in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
• BSN from an accredited school of nursing. If the RN has an Associate’s Degree (ADN), they must complete a BSN within 5 years of the start date.
• Must be able to work day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years of NICU RN experience at a level III or IV NICU.
