Registered Nurse (RN) NICU PRN
About The Position
Inova Alexandria Hospital is seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for its 16-bed, Level III Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU). The role is PRN (as needed) and requires availability for day and night shifts, including weekends and holidays. The NICU provides around-the-clock care for premature newborns and newborns with special needs, supported by specially trained, board-certified neonatologists and specialized nurses, respiratory therapists, physical therapists, and nutritionists. Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Registered Nurse.
- At least 1 year of NICU RN experience.
- Basic Life Support certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
- Licensed as a Registered Nurse, or eligible for licensure, in the Commonwealth of Virginia.
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from an accredited school of nursing. Registered Nurses with an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) must complete a BSN within 5 years of their start date.
