About The Position

This posting is for all new graduate RNs completing their program by Spring 2026. Our next residency cohort begins June. We will be conducting onsite interviews during the last two weeks of April. Candidates who are selected and successfully complete their NCLEX can anticipate a tentative start date in the last two weeks of June. The Nurse Residency Program is a year-long cohort with fellow new graduate nurses, offering opportunities to earn CEs for your first licensure renewal, participation in simulation experiences, rotations through specialty areas, and ongoing mentorship from a nurse educator. You will make an impact by delivering safe, evidence-based care with the support of experienced preceptors, collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to shape exceptional patient experiences, leveraging advanced technology and clinical tools to support patient well-being, and participating in structured learning, simulation, and specialty rotations. You will build confidence and competence through hands-on practice and mentorship.

Requirements

  • Current NC RN license or eligibility to practice in a Nurse Licensure Compact state
  • Diploma in Nursing, ADN, or higher from an accredited program
  • 0–6 months RN experience
  • American Heart Association BLS required
  • ACLS, PALS, and/or NRP required within 6 months of hire (based on unit placement)
