About The Position

The UH Cleveland Medical ICU is a 20 bed unit. Our unit utilizes leading-edge technologies and evidenced-based treatments to ensure our patients are receiving exceptional care during a very critical time period. This position is for a New Grad RN and offers a Nurse Residency Program to assist in Transition To Practice. The hospital is an Academic/Teaching Hospital with a Nurse focused & supportive & education focused culture and is Magnet Recognized.

Requirements

Diploma RN, Associate or Bachelor's Degree of Nursing from an accredited program
An Ohio RN license is not required to be considered for this position. If selected to move forward, employment offers may be made contingent on candidate successfully obtaining RN license within time frame discussed at the time of offer acceptance.
Current BLS Provider Certification, issued by the American Heart Association, must be obtained during Nursing Orientation.
Education and degree verification will be required upon receiving a job offer.

Nice To Haves

BSN preferred
Prior experience on a related unit or specialty in a practicum, internship or STNA/PCNA/NAII is preferred
