About The Position

A leading acute care hospital in Tallahassee, FL is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) – Med-Tele / Neurology to join a collaborative and patient-focused care team. This is a 288-bed acute care facility recognized as both a Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center , offering a fast-paced environment that blends neurological care with continuous cardiac monitoring. This role is ideal for nurses who value clinical autonomy, teamwork, and delivering high-quality care to patients with complex neurological and telemetry needs.

Requirements

Minimum of 1 year of recent acute care RN experience required
Active Florida RN license or active multistate/compact license
BLS required
ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
Associate Degree in Nursing required
BSN preferred

Nice To Haves

ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
BSN preferred

Responsibilities

Monitor patients requiring continuous telemetry and neurological assessments
Perform comprehensive patient assessments and identify changes in clinical status
Develop and implement individualized plans of care
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
Educate patients and families on medications, neurological recovery, and treatment plans
Ensure patient safety and appropriate use of medical equipment and resources
