About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and motivated Nurse Manager (RN) to lead a 32–36 bed Medical-Surgical / Neurology unit within a 558-bed acute care hospital in the Palm Beach County area. This facility is a Joint Commission–certified Primary Stroke Center and a recognized leader in cardiovascular and neuroscience services. The Nurse Manager is responsible for 24/7 operational and clinical accountability of the unit, promoting excellence in patient care, staff engagement, and quality outcomes.

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role (Charge Nurse, CNC, or Nurse Manager) within an acute care setting
• Required background in Neurology (Neuro) nursing
• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
• Active Florida RN License or Compact RN License
• BLS (required; may be obtained within 30 days of hire)
• ACLS (required; may be obtained within 30 days of hire)

Responsibilities

• Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff with the assistance of Charge Nurses/CNCs
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and effective resource utilization
• Ensure compliance with clinical standards, safety protocols, and performance metrics
• Collaborate with leadership to support organizational goals and unit success
• Foster professional growth, education, and clinical competency among team members
• 24/7 operational and clinical accountability of the unit
• promoting excellence in patient care, staff engagement, and quality outcomes
