About The Position
"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a motivated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join a collaborative Medical-Surgical team at a 99-bed acute care facility in Palatka, Florida . This role is ideal for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced environment and are committed to delivering high-quality, patient-centered care. The Medical-Surgical department includes two units: West Unit: 24 beds East Unit: 28 beds You will be supported by an engaged leadership team focused on mentorship, clinical excellence, and professional development, while practicing care using the Assess, Perform, Teach, and Manage model.
Requirements
- Experience: Minimum of 1 year of acute care Registered Nurse experience
- Education: Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) or higher from an accredited program
- Licensure: Active Florida RN license or Multistate/Compact RN license (Florida license required within 60 days of relocation)
- Certification: BLS required within 30 days of hire
- Attributes: Positive attitude, strong teamwork skills, adaptability, and a commitment to continuous learning
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient assessments upon admission and throughout each shift
- Monitor patient conditions and promptly report changes to the care team
- Administer medications and perform clinical procedures per physician orders
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation
- Educate patients and families on diagnoses, treatment plans, and discharge care
- Anticipate patient needs and respond proactively to support optimal outcomes
