About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking compassionate and dependable Registered Nurses to join a high-performing Medical-Surgical Orthopedic unit at a 288-bed acute care hospital in Tallahassee, FL. This role offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment where nurses are empowered to deliver high-quality orthopedic and spine care with strong peer and leadership support.

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year recent RN experience
• Active Florida RN license or Multistate/Compact license
• BLS required
• Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) required

Nice To Haves

• Acute care experience preferred
• Strong LTAC experience will be considered
• ACLS preferred (required within 6 months of hire)
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and develop individualized care plans
• Deliver safe, evidence-based nursing care to adult orthopedic and post-surgical patients
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Educate patients and families on medications, procedures, and post-discharge care
• Advocate for patient safety, comfort, and recovery
• Utilize time, supplies, and clinical equipment efficiently
