About The Position

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) Location: Miami, FL (West Miami-Dade) Schedule: Full-time | Mixed Shifts (Rotating Weekends) Compensation & Incentives: Salary Range: $30.34 – $41.50 per hour (based on experience) Sign-On Bonus: Evaluated on a case-by-case basis Relocation Assistance: Evaluated on a case-by-case basis About the Facility: Join a nationally recognized acute care hospital with 417 beds, ranked in the top 5% nationwide for overall clinical excellence. Requirements

• Education: Associate Degree in Respiratory Therapy or graduate of an accredited vocational school.
• Licensure/Certification: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP).
• Certifications: Basic Cardiac Life Support (BLS) required within 30 days of hire.
• Skills: Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment and collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary medical team.

Responsibilities

• Advanced Airway Management: Assist with artificial airway placement and maintain airway integrity during resuscitations and emergent situations.
• Ventilatory Support: Initiate, monitor, and manage invasive and non-invasive mechanical ventilation for critically ill patients, including Trauma and Burn unit patients.
• Diagnostic & Therapeutic Procedures: Perform patient assessments, monitor therapy response, and conduct diagnostic tests.
• Clinical Interventions: Administer oxygen therapy, aerosolized medications, and chest physiotherapy.
• Critical Transport: Safely coordinate the transport of ventilator-dependent patients throughout the facility.
